Revive My Desire!
Day 2—How Do Seek God With All Your Heart
Yesterday, we talked about ‘How Do You Seek God With All Your Heart?’—not just in theory, but in practice.
If you missed that first post, pause here and go back.
That foundation matters. Seeking is where the relationship begins.
This post builds on that truth—because seeking doesn’t stop when the fire fades.
“My soul clings to the dust; give me life according to Your word.”
“My soul melts away for sorrow; strengthen me according to Your word.” Psalm 119:25, 28
When the psalmist feels crushed, he doesn’t numb the pain—he seeks God in His Word. He knows there’s only one place revival begins: in the presence of God, through Scripture.
If you’ve lost hunger for the Word, don’t hide it—ask Him to revive it.
He delights in giving life to weary hearts—after all, you are breathing, aren’t you?
Feelings are great teachers but terrible leaders.
They show where your heart is, but only His truth can guide you forward.
Time leads to trust, and trust leads to obedience.
The more time you spend with Him, the easier it becomes to obey Him—because love always fuels obedience.
Never Finished Challenge:
Before you read today, pray, “Lord, revive my heart and renew my hunger for Your Word.”
Then spend ten minutes reading slowly—listening for His voice, not just information. If nothing stands out, take some deep breaths and read the same passage, verse, or chapter again.
I’ve loved seeing the wave of college baptisms and the growth of the modern church. It’s beautiful—but emotion alone can’t sustain transformation. True revival won’t last until reading the Word becomes a lifestyle, not a moment. Joy comes when Scripture isn’t just opened on Sundays but lived every day. That’s where influence is born—when the Word shapes hearts, homes, and habits.
