Miraculous Provision Kingdom Impact
What happens when God miraculously shows up?
George Müller, born in 1805, is one of my favorite examples of unwavering faith and trust in God’s provision. Throughout his lifetime, he raised the equivalent of 100+ million dollars today without directly asking anyone for money, instead relying solely on prayer. He cared for over 10,000 orphans in England, distributed Bibles, funded schools, and supported global missions, including GIVING nearly a third away to Hudson Taylor’s work in China. His legacy is a model of generosity, prayerful dependence on God, a life devoted to transforming lives for Christ and helping start what is one of the fastest-growing churches in the world, the church in China.
This morning, I was captivated by Paul’s acknowledgment of his global network in Romans 16. I understand the value of relationships, and we all know the statement: It is not what you know; it is who you know. The more I have grown in Christ, the ‘who’ has moved increasingly to Jesus first. When I align myself with Him, suddenly, my relationships are intentional and woven into my life. My God-given purpose, the supernatural presence of God, and divine provisions follow suit.
How do you intentionally align yourself with Jesus? Here’s what George Müller and Paul modeled:
1. Daily Devotion and Scripture Reading: Müller began each day immersed in God’s Word, letting it shape his actions and attitudes.
2. Prayer as a Foundation: Müller brought every need to God in prayer, trusting Him completely and expressing gratitude in advance.
3. Living in Obedience and Faith: His reliance on God’s promises, including financial provision, reflected his commitment to biblical principles.
4. Gratitude and Reflection: Müller kept journals of God’s faithfulness, fostering trust and deepening his faith.
5. Humility and Surrender: He surrendered his plans to glorify Jesus, centering his life on serving others.
6. Service to Others: Müller lived a life that embodied Christ’s teachings by caring for orphans and supporting missions.
Paul and Müller lived lives devoted to God, weaving narratives that make The Lord of the Rings pale in comparison. Their stories are truly unremarkable!
My Testimony
On October 31, I faced unemployment with nothing but bills ahead. We planned to sell our home and live off the equity while I finished my Master’s in Apologetics and Evangelism at Dallas Theological Seminary. We prayed as we prepped the house, even taking on debt, but God’s timing shifted everything. The housing market froze, leaving us with no offers. Trusting God, we set a date to list it for rent, and within two days, renters moved in. This step of faith aligned perfectly, as we had already signed a rental contract closer to our daughter’s school (Yep, I have three girls under four).
Today is January 2, and while I’m still unemployed, God’s provision has been miraculous over the past 60 days.
Divine Provision
Emceed and spoke at a family event in West Palm Beach in November: $2,000 and an all-expenses paid event to fly our family down for a beach trip - something we had been praying we could do with the girls this year. What a beautiful place and an opportunity to be a small part of nearly sixty individuals of all ages for the Kingdom.
In November, someone gave $3,000 to our family after he felt led by God.
In November and then again in December, a person randomly sent us a Zelle for $1,000.
In December, someone gave $3,000 after God led her to give.
In December, a brother in Christ committed to paying $1000 to the girl’s school for the next three months.
In December, a brother in Christ mailed a check for $1000 after God told him to give.
In December, my best friend from high school, a brother in Christ, sent me $225 to buy running shoes.
In December, a brother in Christ pledged to give me $150 for the year to write these blogs.
In December, a brother signed up for my Patreon account, helping me continue that ministry.
Kingdom Impact
We have tithed 10% of all gifts, sometimes over 10. I include the percentage for transparency. The tithing has gone to a local church, a Brother in Christ undergoing chemotherapy, family cleaners at our local church so they could buy Christmas presents, a non-profit providing Christmas for families, and a family who needed a dishwasher.
In the last 8 weeks, I have done a daily video (encouraging others in Christ), reaching 23,797 views on TikTok. I have reached 16,292 views on my daily videos about Jesus on Instagram. There have been 300+ views on this substack platform, which I just started.
I have had the freedom to serve my wife, spend time with and father my daughters, and mentor and walk alongside men younger and older.
My Patreon series about renewing the mind has continued. My semester of school just ended, with my potential last one being spring, Lord willing (three more classes).
Align, serve, trust.
I am no George Muller or Paul, but the similarity between us is that we serve the SAME GOD. God’s kingdom is abundant. It does not lack resources or divine opportunity—divine, in that the opportunities are out of this world, purpose-filled.
I want to caveat by saying, of course, God, but I have had key mentors walk with me through this challenging transition. You know who you are! Thank you!
What’s next?
Daily devotion to God, being a husband to my wife, father to my girls, kingdom friend to others, doing a 4x4x48 (4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours) on January 24 and April 4 100 miler—raising money for my friend John who has cancer; believing for $100k total—daily videos on all social platforms for Jesus, Patreon Kingdom Coaching, mentoring and being mentored, and finishing school.
Never Finished Challenge:
Listen to the George Muller audiobook (because no one has time to read that, LOL) and other biographies of Christians. But first, read, read, read the Bible. Spend time with God and follow the six steps above. Your life will radically change for the better!
Also, it’s a new year, so there is something you have that you can give, financially or with resources. So, step out in faith and do it!
What does today say about God?
I am honestly out of words… Some doubt crept into sharing this, but it didn’t stay long. None of this is a result of me. Instead, it is a result of He who is in me. It is all Him! God has miraculously provided for my family. He has given us love, support, grace, mercy, forgiveness, and opportunity. God is a loving Father who is unexplainable intentionally, weaving a narrative in our lives that we would never be able to create or imagine.
You cannot outgive God. He is a God of multiplication. Let’s be Kingdom Multipliers and Never be finished aligning ourselves with Him!
Thank you, Jesus. 😭 😭😭
